Flow Blue Doulton Jam Pot / Preserve Barrel Rare

  • ITEM - Lovely little Jam Pot or Barrel with Silver Plated Rim, Handle
    and Cover
  • DATE - From the registration number 262768 on the base the date would be c1895
  • PATTERN - Floral Pattern name unknown
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - Doulton
  • SIZES - About 3 ¾ inches to the rim,4 ¾ inches to the finial on the
    cover,5 ½ inches to the top of the handle,3 inches across the top, and about 4 ½
    inches across the widest part of the body
  • Such a sweet little item and quite rare to find - I have photographed it against a full
    size biscuit barrel to give you an idea of the actual size
  • Very good factory highly collected, the silver plated handle and cover have
    matching patterning so you know the cover is original to the piece
    Condition of Item
  • Wear to the silver plating - which has been over polished ( often a sign of a well loved item) but this does not detract from the piece
  • No damage and no restoration
  • Some crazing which has come with age
